I decided that it would be economically benficial to switch from using Pro Tools First, to using Reaper. One Reaper will let me use third party plugins and two Reaper is $60 for the license. As where Pro Tools is pushing almost $600. I would be saving money, plus I have an amp sim, And I would be able to get up and going faster. Of course because I am a bit slow it will take me a minute to learn Reaper, but it is worth it for the price. I even have a drum library and add on I am looking at getting as well as a orchestra plugin. I will get these plugins slowly after I get Reaper. Takes me a minute to save up.

I am still in the learning process of music recording, so I am actually going to hold off on the metal album I want to make for at least a year. One so I can get the hang of this process, two so I can save up for Pro Tools as well as some better plugins, and three so I can practice more on guitar. I noticed that the recording process shows all my missteps in playing. I need to get better at playing the guitar for both better tone dialing and to get it to where each chord or note is more pronounced. I will be uploading tests and samples until then to share my progress in audio learning.

I have just finished learning how to convert audio files to mp3 from my DAW. I uploaded a sample to see if it worked. nothing to special about the test sample, but I am now confident enough to start recording some songs. Please feel free to give me constructive criticism, as well as pointers as I am both a slow learner and new at recording, plus mostly deaf in my left ear. Any way I am excited to start recording my first set of songs, I even have friend I am going to commission to do the cover art.

I am so excited, I finally have it setup. Is it perfect? No. Will it work for now? Yes. I do plan on adding to it, but for now. Booyah! I do have to download the Audio Assault Sigma amp SIM. By tomorrow I should be able to start the long process of learning and recording music. I am even talking with a friend who does digital art on possibly commissioning him for my album cover art. I am even planning on starting a Youtube channel, as a way to share my music. Of course I will make one after I have finished recording some material. So if you notice I am not drawing as much. I am still here just busy with music related stuff.

My cousin finished the computer he was making me for musical recording. I am so happy right now, I even have everything but the Audio Assault Sigma amp sim, I have it purchased just waiting for the order to go through. I am so happy I will now be able to start doing what I've always wanted to.

So I borrowed my cousins computer to test out my DAW and Scarlett interface. I am definitely going to have to watch a bunch of You tube videos on how to use everything. I figured out how to lay a basic drum beat from the free drum library/samples. I will be using his computer every now and again to learn how to use it, while I am saving up to have him build my computer. I also need to get a mic clip adapter. I haven't been posting as much art, simply put I have been working a lot on getting as much cash so I can get my studio up and going as fast as I can. Anyways I still have requests and commissions open. Make sure to read the rules journal first. I will be posting art occasionally. I am still active even if I am not posting. Also not a fan of the new DA layout, I think it is both visually off putting, and in certain aspects confusing to use. Just my thoughts on it.

So I now figured out what is wrong with the DAW I downloaded. My computer does not have a good enough amount of processing power. So I am now going to save up to make a computer. Until then I will try to use my cousins to learn how to use the DAW and learn to record music.

So my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen interface bundle came in the mail. I messed up somewhere along the downloads, so I will have someone i know help me fix it sometime this week or next. Once I get it setup I will spend some time learning how Pro Tools works. I am a bit slow so it will take me a minute. After that I will begin recording random guitar bits and what not to better dial in my sound. After that I will begin recording my own music. Also I have some art I am working on in between.

So I just ordered myself the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Studio 3rd Gen Recording Bundle. It will be here on the 23rd I am excited beyond measure. I can soon start learning to record music. I do have some more stuff I want to buy for my studio but for now this will work plenty.

I have decided to get a different interface bundle, but hopefully I will order it soon, I am excited I can 't wait for it to come through the mail. Now it will take me a while to figure out how to use a DAW and record music. After that I will be available to do commissions for games and series here on Newgrounds. That won't be for a minute though. It takes me a while to learn something new.
